Senate Passes Resolution Condemning India’s Illegal Annexation Of Occupied Kashmir

The resolution, which was moved by Leader of House Shibli Faraz, declared the annexation as an “attempt by India to change the demography of occupied Kashmir” as part of the racist and fascist agenda of Modi, inspired by the RSS ideology. The annexation is an attempt to undermine the UN Charter, international law and relevant UN Security Council resolutions, which accept the inalienable right of self-determination of the people of Jammu and Kashmir, the resolution said. The resolution observed that inspired by Nazi Germany, Modi’s government is perpetrating grave crimes against humanity in occupied Kashmir, turning the valley into the world’s biggest “concentration camp” with its ongoing lockdown and communication blackout as the officials arrest, kidnap, torture, rape, and martyr innocent Kashmiris.
