Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Monday chaired a high-level review meeting on Jammu and Kashmir with top officers. Ahead of a crucial cabinet meeting on Monday to be chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Union Home Minister Amit Shah held a high-level meet on the Kashmir turmoil in his office in Parliament on Sunday.
Sources said the next 24 hours will be crucial as there may be some clarity in regard to Jammu and Kashmir. However, no agenda was circulated for the cabinet meeting in advance. Sources have said that the agenda would be tabled at the time of the meeting scheduled at 9:30 am at PM’s residence.
National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval and Home Secretary Rajiv Gauba, IB chief Arvind Kumar and RAW chief Samanta Goel attended the meeting chaired by Amit Shah. Later, Amit Shah also met Additional Secretary, Kashmir Division separately.
