Kashmir’s Main Tourist Attraction Gulmarg Sees No Visitors Since August 3 indiatoday.in

Gulmarg, the famous tourist destination in Kashmir, is not only a backbone of tourism industry revenue for thousands of people in Kashmir but also the main attraction of tourists domestic and foreign tourists in Jammu and Kashmir. However, Gulmarg has no visitors since August 3.
Mohammed Iqbal, a manager in a four-star hotel in Gulmarg said, “On August 3, we were told by local police to ask tourists to leave from Gulmarg as there is major terror threat for them. We followed their orders. However, it was on August 5 that we could understand what was the purpose of getting hotels vacated by tourists. Since then, no one is visiting Gulmarg.”
