Hours after a sharp exchange of words between India and China over Kashmir, the Congress has hit out the Centre. Congress leader Manish Tewari asked why is India unable to raise issues like Hong Kong protests, oppression in Tibet with China when it repeatedly raises the Kashmir issue.
The Congress has slammed the Narendra Modi-led government for failing to stop China from interfering in the internal matters of India after China said it was paying close attention to the situation in Kashmir.
Taking to Twitter after a heated exchange of words between India and China on Kashmir, Congress leader Manish Tewari asked why does India not raise issues of pro-democracy protests in Hong Kong, human rights violations in Xinjiang like China keep raising concerns about Kashmir.
