BJP Leader’s Van Among Two Vehicles Set Ablaze By Terrorists In Kulgam indiatoday.in
Two vehicles were set ablaze in Kulgam district of Jammu and Kashmir. One of the two vehicles belonged to a local BJP leader.
Suspected terrorists set on fire two vehicles, one of which belonged to a local BJP leader, on early Friday morning in Kulgam district of south Kashmir.
The incident took place at a village in Kulgam at 3 am on Friday, sources said.
One of the vehicles set ablaze belonged to local BJP leader Adil Ahmad Ganai, who was reportedly not present at his house at the time of the incident. The private vehicle of Ganai was parked outside the home.
The Jammu and Kashmir Poice have said they are investigating the matter.
This comes days after a terror attack in Kulgam district that left five laborers from West Bengal dead, which disrupted normal life across the Valley.
Five migrant laborers were shot dead by terrorists on Tuesday night. Another laborer succumbed to his injuries at a hospital, taking the toll to six.
The attack was followed by clashes at several places in Kashmir on, leaving several persons injured.
