Modi Govt Launches 85 Schemes For The Development Of The State

In Jammu and Kashmir, the central government has launched 85 jan-oriented development schemes like the Prime Minister’s Kisan Yojana. A special initiative of the Prime Minister to provide LPG connections to poor people and direct benefit transfer (DBT) for LPG and kerosene will be available in the State. It has also been focused on strengthening women, especially in rural areas. While the Prime Minister’s Kisan Yojana and the Prime Minister’s Kisan Pension Scheme come under the purview of the Ministry of Agriculture, the Prime Minister’s Jan Dhan Yojana and stand-up India are under the Ministry of Finance.
