Terrorists Open Fire On Civilian In Awantipora

In yet another incident of terror attack, suspected terrorists on Wednesday opened fire at a civilian in Tral area of Awantipora in Jammu and Kashmir. Soon after the incident, an encounter between the terrorists and the security men has broken out. On November 10, a similar encounter between the suspected terrorists and the security forces took place in Bandipora district of north Kashmir.

Two days later, Kashmir Zone Police revealed that two terrorists were eliminated in the Bandipora encounter. IGP Kashmir SP Pani said that the terrorists were related to the Lashkar-e-Taiba. He said that there has been no collateral damage in this operation and added that one terrorist has been identified as Abu Tala who was a Pakistani.
