Cyclonic Circulation To Cause Rains Over J-K, Himachal

Due to the western disturbance, after a cyclonic circulation lies over Iran and nearby regions, Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh are likely to receive rainfall, predicted India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Wednesday.

Jammu and Kashmir are likely to receive downpour on Thursday and Friday while Himachal Pradesh may be battered by the rains on Friday only. Apart from these two states, scattered to fairly widespread rainfall with isolated heavy falls is very likely over Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal today and tomorrow. The thunderstorm accompanied by lightning at isolated places over parts of the Southern Peninsula during the next two days.
