2-Day Orientation Program Commences In Srinagar brighterkashmir.com
A two-day orientation program on Central Registration Act for Registrars and Sub Registrars today commenced at Jammu and Kashmir Institute of Management, Public Administration & Rural Development (JK IMPARD).
Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Baseer Ahmad Khan who was the chief guest on the occasion, said that the orientation program is of great importance for the registrars and sub registrars as they have been assigned with huge responsibility.
While asking these officials to discharge their duties with the sense of responsibility, Baseer Khan asked them to go through the guidelines of the Registration Act and ensure the accuracy of the documents while conducting registrations.
It was informed that, with regard to the Central Registration Act 1908, officers in the Revenue Department have been designated as Registrars and Sub Registrars for the purpose of making registration in the matters of the transfer of properties.
