A third meeting between home secretary Ajay Bhalla and J&K chief secretary B.V.R. Subrahmanyam was held in Delhi on Friday. Top officials of the J&K administration held discussions with home ministry officials on the J&K Reorganisation Act.

A third meeting between Union home secretary Ajay Bhalla and Jammu and Kashmir chief secretary B.V.R. Subrahmanyam was held in the National Capital today on the matter. The administration has begun to lay the groundwork for the two union territories of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh – which came into effect after the state was bifurcated on 5 August.
