One Indian Army Jawan Martyred In Ceasefire Violation By Pakistani Troops At Naushehra Sector Of Rajouri, Jammu newsonair.com
In Jammu and Kashmir, one Indian Army Jawan was martyred in a ceasefire violation by Pakistani troops at Naushehra sector of Rajouri in Jammu Division today.
Defense Spokesperson told AIR that Pakistani troops started indiscriminate and unprovoked firing with small arms and shelling with mortars targeting Indian forward posts and civilian areas in Naushehra sector. Indian Army responded immediately by giving a befitting reply to Pak firing. However, in the exchange of fire, One Indian jawan Naik Rajib Thapa attained martyrdom. Naik Rajib Thapa belonged to Mechpara Village in Jalpaiguri district in West Bengal. Heavy damage to Pakistan Army posts and casualties to Pakistan soldiers have been inflicted by Indian Troops.
