1 Army Jawan Martyred, 2 Injured In IED Blast Near Loc In Pallanwalla indiatoday.in
At least one Indian Army personnel was martyred while two were injured in an IED blast near the Line of Control (LoC) on Sunday. The IED blast was reported close to the LoC in Pallanwalla sector of Jammu and Kashmir (J&K). According to the Army sources, the IED blast happened when the troops were moving in an Army truck. All the injured were taken to a Military Hospital in Udhampur where one of the personnel succumbed to his injuries.
“Two army personnel have injured in a suspicious blast in Akhnoor sector. The blast happened when the troops were moving around in an Army truck. Meanwhile, Pakistan has yet again violated the ceasefire at LoC in the Naushera sector, Rajouri district in J&K. The Pakistani forces initiate unprovoked firing and shelling on Sunday and also targeted the civilian areas. The Indian Army has retaliated to Pakistan’s ceasefire provocation.
