At least 40 terrorists are suspected to have crossed the Line of Control (LoC) and entered Jammu and Kashmir from Pakistani side, sources in the security agencies told India Today. The security agencies have stepped up vigil in the state after intelligence about infiltration was gathered. The agencies suspect that the infiltrators are heavily armed and have received training on the other side of the LoC. Sources said the security agencies have foiled several infiltration bids recently along the Line of Control. However, a few have succeeded, they said, in their attempts to infiltrate. The security agencies are on high alert.
