In the past, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, who is a vociferous opponent of NRC and CAA, had termed the Prime Minister as “Hitler’s uncle”. While addressing a protesters’ rally in Kolkata, Mamata Banerjee had said, “Hitler would have committed suicide after seeing prime minister’s activities.”
Even when the Citizenship Amendment Bill was tabled in Lok Sabha, AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi had said that if the bill gets cleared and implemented in the country, Home Minister Amit Shah’s name will be taken in the same breath as German dictator Adolf Hitler.
