Amit Shah Conducting ‘High-Level Meeting’ Over Jammu And Kashmir, May Make Big Announcement english.newstracklive.com
In Modi Sarkar 2.0, Home Minister Amit Shah is holding a high-level meeting on Jammu and Kashmir. In this meeting, the National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval, Union Home Secretary and heads of intelligence agencies will be present. Even after 40 days of repeated attempts by Pakistan to disturb peace in the state after the special status of Jammu and Kashmir was abolished, the security forces maintained control over the situation.
According to the state administration and the army, the Kashmir Valley has remained peaceful even after a series of terror attacks and stone-pelting incidents on civilians. The Parliament abolished the special status given to Jammu and Kashmir under Article 370 of the Constitution on 6 August and divided the state into two Union Territories, Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh.
After this historic move of the central government, security was tightened in Jammu and Kashmir for fear of violence, in which 28,000 additional troops of central paramilitary forces were deployed. Although the sanctions have been reduced to a great extent since then, the security forces have not let the enemy succeed in carrying out major incidents of attempts to break the peace.
