Home Minister Amit Shah speaks to India Today TV in an exclusive interview. The home minister’s first interview since the abrogation of Article 370 comes as post-paid mobile services are being restored in Kashmir.

In a historic decision, Narendra Modi government on August 5 scrapped Article 370 of the Indian Constitution, which accorded special status to Jammu and Kashmir. The state was also divided into two Union Territories – Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh.

The region which was put under a complete blackout on the intervening night of August 4 and 5 has been limping back to normalcy since. While there are no remaining restrictions in Jammu and Ladakh regions, partial communication restored in Kashmir.
