Army Confiscates 40-Kg RDX In Jammu And Kashmir’s Billawar Area newsnation.in
In a joint operation of Army and Police on Sunday night, more than 40 kg RDX explosives have been confiscated from a house in Jammu and Kashmir’s Billawar area. The owner of the house is currently absconding while the investigation is underway.
Averting what could have been a major terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir, the security forces on Monday recovered at least 40 kg of explosives along with other items from Jammu and Kashmir’s Kathua region.
The seizure was made during a search operation in the Dewal village of the Bilawal area of Kathua.
As per reports, one person has been arrested in the connection and is currently being interrogated, security forces said, adding that further details are awaited.
