Cold Increased In Jammu And Kargil, Traffic Disrupted In Many Areas

Due to clear weather, the temperature in Jammu and Kashmir is improving. But the cold wave continues in Kashmir. Life has been affected by icy winds. The minimum temperature is running below zero in all districts. In Kargil, Leh and Gulmarg, there is freezing cold. The maximum daytime temperature in Kargil is also minus 5.3 degrees Celsius. It has been learned that traffic has not been restored on the Srinagar-Leh National Highway and the Shopian (Kashmir) road connecting the district Rajouri and Poonch. According to the meteorological centre Srinagar today, i.e. on Tuesday, the weather will be clear in Jammu and Kashmir. The weather remained clear on Monday in most districts of Kashmir. Summer capital Srinagar recorded a daytime temperature of 13.1 degrees Celsius.
