Cop, Journalist Among 10 Injured In Grenade Attack Outside Anantnag DC Office indiatoday.in
At least 10 persons were injured after suspected terrorists hurled a grenade outside the deputy commissioner’s office in Jammu and Kashmir’s Anantnag on Saturday. Terrorists hurled a grenade on a security patrol outside the heavily guarded complex in Anantnag town, 55 km from Srinagar, around 11 am, an official was quoted as saying by news agency PTI.However, terrorists missed the target with the grenade exploding on the roadside, causing injuries to five people. Of the 10 injured, which included a 12-year-old, a traffic cop and a journalist, three sustained critical injuries in the attack. The area has been cordoned off by security forces and a hunt has been launched to nab the terrorists behind the attack.
