'Deeply Pained': Rajnath Singh Condoles Death Of Soldiers, Porters In Siachen Avalanche

Aday after four Indian Army personnel and two others were killed in an avalanche in Siachen, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has expressed sadness and condoled the tragic deaths.

In a tweet on Tuesday morning, Rajnath Singh said, “Deeply pained by the demise of soldiers and porters due to avalanche in Siachen. I salute their courage and service to the nation. My heartfelt condolences to their families.”

Four Indian Army personnel and two civilian porters were killed after they were hit by an avalanche in the northern part of the Siachen Glacier on Monday afternoon.
