Defence Minister Inaugurates Bridge At Shyok River In Ladakh ddinews.gov.in

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Tuesday dedicated to the nation the newly constructed ‘Colonel Chewang Rinchen Bridge’ at Shyok River in Ladakh

Constructed at an altitude of 14650 feet in the forward area of the Ladakh region.

The bridge has been built by the Border Roads Organisation.

It will not only provide all-weather connectivity in the region but also be a strategic asset in the border areas.

Better connectivity in Ladakh would certainly bring tourists in large numbers.

With the inauguration of the bridge, the Siachen area will now be open for tourists and will boost the tourism sector in the area.
