First International Film Festival in Jammu From Today amarujala.com
The first International Film Festival in the city will begin on Thursday 26th September at the Abhinav Theater. This level festival has not been done before. It will feature short films and documentaries from 11 countries. Foreign culture including the country will also give people an opportunity to get familiar.
Festival director Rohit Bhatt told reporters at the Press Club that people will also get a chance to meet renowned artists and directors of J&K state. This is being organized for the first time after the removal of Article 370. The festival will run for two days.
It will have Rakesh Roshan Bhatt and Rohit Bhatt Festival directors. On the first day, the film festival will feature celebrities like Kashmiri Shah, Ayub Khan, Ejaz Khan, Kapil Bhatt. Cultural dance will begin. ICCR directors will then share their experiences.
