Former Legislators, Politicians Meet Lt Governer GC Murmu indiatoday.in

A group of former legislators, politicians met GC Murmu, Lt Governor Jammu and Kashmir. Political process and dialogue with the members of mainstream political parties have been initiated. The move has hinted at the possible formation of a third front. Interestingly, the leaders raised issues of domicile reservation in jobs, restoration of statehood but didn’t speak of revocation of Article 370.

The delegation of the former legislators and politicians was led by Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari, former Minister and senior leader of the People's Democratic Party(PDP). The meeting of the former legislators and politicians with the Lt Governor was important as it has initiated the political process and dialogue with the members of mainstream political parties of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
