In his first visit to Kashmir after the abrogation of special status granted to Jammu and Kashmir, BJP’s national generalNSE -4.75 % secretary Ram Madhav said he had urged all citizens of the country to plan their next honeymoon, holiday or yatra in the Valley. “I have addressed over 60 meetings across the country in the past two months and I told people that they should plan their next holiday, honeymoon and yatra in Kashmir,” said Madhav. The BJP’s point man for Kashmir said any roadblock in “ Naya ” ( n e w ) Kashmir’s peace and development will be dealt with harshly and that there are enough jails across India for people who create trouble. “People from two parties are inside the jail and Kashmir is silent… they used violence for political survival,” he said, addressing about 300 BJP workers at the Tagore Hall here.
