Honour For BSF School – Jammu Kashmir

BSF Senior Secondary School, Jammu, has been ranked first for the 4th consecutive year among day-cum-boarding schools in J&K according to the Education World India School rankings 2019. The school was felicitated during a ceremony organized by the Education World held at Gurugram on September 28 and 29. India’s top schools in different categories were felicitated. BSF School, Jammu, ranked 9th among India’s Top 10 Extraordinary Leadership in Education World Grand Jury Awards 2019-20. A function was held at the Frontier Headquarters to felicitate school principal SK Shukla.

The Directorate of School Education, Jammu, (DSEJ) has ordered change in the school timings. “All the government, as well as private recognized schools up to higher secondary level falling under Summer Zones of Jammu division, shall observe school timing 9 am to 3 pm within municipal limits and 10 am to 4 pm in rural areas,” a DSEJ order said.
