Indian Army Thwarts Infiltration Bid In Jammu & Kashmir pragativadi.com
Indian Army has thwarted infiltration bid near LoC in the Nowshera sector in Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday, defense sources said. The Army also said that Pakistani posts actively instigate civilians to cross the LoC but the Indian soldiers show restraint in such situations. The defense sources said the infiltrators were able to reach within 150-meters of the LoC in the Lam area of the Nowshera sector. The Army, however, dispersed the approaching group by firing at them. The defense sources said Pakistan resorted to unprovoked ceasefire violation in the Krishna Ghari sector in Jammu & Kashmir’s Poonch district on Saturday. Last week, Indian Army personnel died in a similar ceasefire violation from Pakistan.
