Sports News Business: The State of Jammu and Kashmir, the Union Government has initiated the process to create a state of the art infrastructure.

The Government will reportedly pump-in between ₹ 40 crore to ₹ 50 crore for creating three new synthetic football turfs in Jammu, Rajouri, and Nagrota as per FIFA’s global standards; a hockey synthetic turf in Poonch; a synthetic athletic track in Jammu University; seven synthetic basketball courts; 17 synthetic handball courts; 27 new synthetic volleyball courts; 29 synthetic badminton courts and two new skating rinks in Jammu the division. The program is part of the Centre’s special package for the augmentation of sports infrastructure in J&K under the “Khelo India” national scheme.
