J&K Chief Secy Among 26 IAS Officers Empanelled For Secretaries Post At Centre indiatoday.in
Jammu and Kashmir Chief Secretary BVR Subrahmanyam are among 26 IAS officers impaneled in the rank of secretary in the Central government. The appointments committee of the Union Cabinet approved the empanelment of 26 officers of IAS as a secretary while 15 others were given rank equivalent to the secretary, an official order said on Wednesday. Team Narendra Modi’s key person during the abrogation of Article 370 for Jammu and Kashmir, Jammu and Kashmir Chief Secretary BVR Subrahmanyam has been impaneled as a secretary to the Centre.
As many as 32 IAS officers including Anil Malik, currently posted as joint secretary (foreigners) in the Ministry of Home Affairs, were impaneled for holding Additional Secretary-level posts at the Central government, a news agency. The officers impaneled in the rank of the secretary include Mallampalli Srinivas Rao, a 1987-batch IAS officer of the Assam-Meghalaya cadre currently CEO in the ministry of electronics and information technology.
