Liaison Officers To Assist J And K Students Outside UT Named newkerala.com
The Jammu and Kashmir government has nominated liaison officers in various states to redress grievances or to ease difficulties or distress of students studying outside the Union Territory.
The Higher Education Department, in an official communique, declared that these liaison officers are in constant touch with the local administration and college administration and the state governments to reach out to the students of Jammu and Kashmir.
It also requested the students to use the social media “cautiously” and “refrain” from any such activity which can disturb peace and harmony.
“They (J&K students) are further advised not to pay heed to any of the rumours and are requested to contact the liaison officers,” the communique said.
