Mehboobas Daughter Moves SC Seeking To Met Her Mother

Adding to the list of petitions filed in the Supreme Court in connection with Jammu and Kashmir, the daughter of former Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti on Wednesday moved the apex court, seeking directions to the authorities concerned to allow her to meet her mother. Ilija Javed claims her mother is under detention after the abrogation of Article 370 which allocated special status to Jammu and Kashmir. It is learned that Iltija has contended in the petition that she is deeply concerned regarding her mother’s health as she has been under detention for nearly a month now.
