Nearly 2000 Vital Projects To Be Completed By March 2021 In J&K

In Jammu and Kashmir, Government has said that nearly 2000 vital projects will be completed by March next year with an aim to boost the economy and take the agenda of development ahead in the Union Territory. This was said by Financial Commissioner, (Finance department), Dr Arun Kumar Mehta, during a meeting in Srinagar. He said that the present government led by Lieutenant Governor, G C Murmu, has completed 300 languishing projects so far and will adopt a strategy during which all the languishing projects will be completed and new one’s projects will be funded fully. Mr Mehta said that no new project would be allowed to go into “languishing mark”. And very rarely any development project will be allowed to go beyond two to three years.
