Rohingyas Will Need To Go, Government Working Out Details timesnownews.com
Union Minister Jitendra Singh while speaking in Jammu said the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) will be applicable across India including the Jammu & Kashmir and details are being worked out to expel Rohingyas from the region.
He also said the rising number of complaints filed with authorities has increased in recent times which he said shows people’s growing faith in the administration. While speaking on CAA, the Minister of State (MoS) in Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) said the Rohingya Muslims will need to leave the region.
“The CAA is applicable across the country including in J&K. By implication what will happen here is that next move will be in relation to the Rohingyas. Unko jana hi hoga (They will have to go), details being worked out. This act doesn’t give them leverage,” Singh was quoted as saying by ANI.
