SC Refers Petitions On Kashmir Issue To Its Constitution Bench thequint.com
The Supreme Court on Monday, 30 September, referred a batch of petitions challenging abrogation of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir to its Constitution bench which will hear the matters from Tuesday. The Block Development Council elections will be held on 24 October in 310 blocks out of 316 blocks across Jammu and Kashmir, said Shailendra Kumar, Chief Electoral Officer, Srinagar on Sunday, 29 September. The elections will be conducted from 9 am till 1 pm and the counting will start at 3 pm on the same day.
