Student Relief Fund Set Up For Kashmiri Students In Kota jagranjosh.com
A student relief fund has been formed to help the Kashmiri students facing financial crunches due to the lockdown in Kashmir for 2 months. The relief fund which has collected over Rs. 2 Lakh was formed due to the appeal of Shehar Qazi of Kota, Anwar Ahmad.
Jangli Shah Baba Dargah Mahfik Khana on Kota organized a get-together of Kashmiri students on the call of the Shehar Qazi in which Kashmiri students from the different coaching institutes participated along with the Kota City SP Deepak Bhargav, directors of the different coaching institutions, representative of Muslim Social Organisations.
The students shared their problems of meeting the expenditures such as hostel fees, daily expenses, mess charges at the gathering following which a student relief fund was constituted in which several organizations offered their financial contributions in the fund. One of the Kashmiri students who participated in the gathering said that earlier he used to receive money from his parents to reach his expenses but he has not been able to get it since the lockdown in the valley.
