Students, Teachers From Jammu And Kashmir Visit Military Establishments

About 15 students and two teachers from Haiderbeg town in Jammu and Kashmir visited various military establishments in the city from November 16 to 20. The visit is being considered as a capacity-building tour under the Indian Army’s “Operation Sadbhavana” scheme. “It facilitates promoting the spirit of unity in diversity, thereby connecting them with the economic development and progress of the nation,” read a statement issued by Southern Command. The students, pursuing a course in screen acting, visited the National Defence Academy, Khadakwasla dam, Institute of National Integration, National War memorial and the Film and Television Institute of India.
