When three youngsters, hailing from Kattipara, a small countryside in Thamaraserry Panchayat decided to set out on an all-India tour on their bikes, seldom did they imagine that they would instantly become an inspiration for the youth and adventure enthusiasts in Kerala. KK Ramiz, Vadakekkara Fayiz, and Abu Rishal are back in their hometown after completing a thrilling and adventurous trip, exploring the real spirit of unity in diversity. The trio began their journey from Kattipara on 28th August and traveled up to Ladakh. They covered around 9400 kilometers through 15 states in 28 days. The youngsters who came back home on 29th September are overwhelmed to talk about their amazing experiences. Ramiz, Fayiz, and Abu Rishal say that they were at the helm of excitement when they finally reached the Khardung La pass in Ladakh which is the highest road in the world. The road is 1830 feet above sea level and it is extremely difficult to catch a breath as there is a shortage of oxygen. Thankfully, the trio had carried oxygen cylinders with them, anticipating such a challenge. At night, they would erect tents near petrol stations and sleet in them. They admit that language barriers had created minor problems in their journey. However, it was the floods in Mumbai, the scorching heatwave in Delhi and the chilling cold in Manali that posed real and exciting challenges for the riders. Though such journeys are really expensive Ramiz, Fayiz, and Abu Rishal hope to set out on all-India trips every year. The people in their locality had arranged a grand welcome for the youngsters who returned on 29th September after successfully completing the adventurous trip. The event was inaugurated by Tamarassery traffic S I Hameed and Premji James presided over it. T Jose, Harris Ambayathod, Girish Mavullapoyil, Sadananadan, Unais, Rahees, and Syamin spoke at the event.
